Area

We have been learning to measure area.  We used pieces of A4 paper to measure the whiteboard and table.  First, we needed to estimate how many pieces of paper we would use.  Estimating is hard.  It was a lot of fun.

We also traced around our hands in our maths books.  We estimated how many squares filled our hands.  Then we counted the squares to measure the area.
