Cross Country Goal Update

Our class cross country goal was to get better each day by running one extra lap around the field.  We all achieved our goal.  I am so proud of all of you.  Some of us even ran more than one extra lap, one person even bet their goal by three laps.  Well done!

Pet Day

Today was a super fun day because it was pet day.  Lots of children brought their pets from home.  Your pets were all very beautiful.  Here are some photos of the pets that came to school today.

The rest of the class made vegetable animals instead.

Here are some photos of the vegetable animal creations.

At the end of the celebration, we were lucky to have a delicious sausage sizzle for lunch.

Teddy Bears Picnic

It was so special having our teddy bears come to school today.
Here are some photos of our teddy bears:

We played 'investigators'.  We followed clues and found some teddy bears hiding in the classroom.
Then we played 'Hide Your Eyes.'  It is just like Hide and Seek, but you cover your eyes.
Congratulations to all our teddy bears who won certificates.
We played 'Duck, Duck, Goose.'
We had fun dancing and playing musical statues.  Well done Briar for winning our game.  You were so still I thought you really were a statue.
We created a new game, called Leap Ted.  It was lots of fun.

We read to our teddies.
We had a teddy bear walk.  We needed to use different facial expressions to show how to be happy, angry, excited, and sad teddy bears.
But most importantly we had a delicious picnic.  Unfortunately the weather was not very nice and we needed to eat in the hall.
Thank you Mrs Higgie for helping!
